Copy an existing community skill (local folder or git URL) into a new destination folder and apply only the edits needed to pass the ren registry spec — rewrites SKILL.md frontmatter to the agentskills.io shape, strips credential / MCP / file / memory setup steps, and generalizes assistant-specific identity references.
